It's All In My Head

I created this blog to promote the release of my new book "It's All in my Head", hence the title of this blog post and I must say that I am in love with this book with a capitol L. I know some of you may think me to be a little bias but honestly my outcome of my own work usually has quite the opposite appeal so I am fairly confident about my feelings towards this one.

Before I tell you a little bit about my novel I would like to first mention that no matter what anybody else says, don't believe them they're lying :P (wink wink) I am a sane and perfectly normal young woman. However, all joking aside, I can not ensure the same fact about some of the characters I may mention. The novel is about a young woman (who is not much younger than myself) who grows up in an abusive home forcing her out on her own, leaving her parents and her past behind. Her life becomes a constant battle between herself and her so called "peers" in the years that pass. She decides finally that she can take no more and escapes once again out of a second story window to find her way back home in hopes of reconnecting with her parents and rekindling an old flame. Love, lies and loss this book has it all and it will keep you questioning the young woman's sanity until the end.

In closing, I would just like to say that the struggles faced in the main characters life can be and are a reality for so many people. I wanted to give my characters traits that people could relate to in hopes of providing a sense of hope and comfort in knowing that they are not alone in this world. My heart and my book go out to everyone struggling with similar hardships that I have only dreamed to write about.
